BEDROOM CANCELLATION POLICIES

Advanced Purchases

Are non-cancellable on all advance purchases a credit or debit card is required to charge full pre-payment at the time of booking.
This is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Reservations

Have a fixed penalty on telephone or email bookings a credit or debit card is required to secure your reservation. There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled before 12:00 GMT 1 day before your date of arrival. If the booking is cancelled later, or in the case of a no-show, the first night will be charged.

 

FUNCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

In these terms and conditions “terms”which apply to all bookings, the expression “the hotel” means the Little Haven Hotel specified in the clients’ confirmation and “the client” means the person booking the hotel.

Once you have discussed a possible date we will hold a provisional booking, without any obligation, for 14 days. Failure to pay your deposit after the 14 days confirms you do not wish to go ahead with the booking and the hotel reserves the right to release the date without prior notification.

 

Deposits -To confirm the booking we require a deposit of £100. This is non-refundable.

All prices are inclusive of V.A.T. at the prevailing rate.

Prices shown are based on minimum numbers of 40 adults. If less than this a Room hire charge will be made.

A minimum of 80% of the guests must be catered for, based on at least buffet ‘A’

All prices quoted are correct at the time of going to press; however the Little Haven Hotel reserves the right to change them without notice.

The choice of menu should be confirmed at least two weeks prior to the function. Final numbers and payment is due no later than ten days before the function.

Once you have a date booked please remember to check availability of the hotel bedrooms. You may take a number of our brochures, please advise your guests to book as soon as possible. No block bookings of bedrooms can be made. All rooms are required to be guaranteed with current credit/debit card information. All rooms are payable on departure, or advance purchase price available on line.

Consumption of food and drink, other than supplied by the Hotel is not allowed. We do not provide a corkage service. This also includes any of your favours/gifts that contain Alcoholic beverages.

Under no circumstances can you or any of your invitees be permitted to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind to be consumed on the premises. If any guests are suspected and found breaching this will be asked to leave the premises.

Any client wishing to bring into the hotel electrical equipment must seek prior permission.

If you require a disco, our resident D.J. will be happy to play any requests and keep your guests entertained playing from 7:30pm till 12:00am (cost £199.50).

All disco’s, bands & musicians must have a current Portable Appliance
Test certificate.

If you wish to book your own entertainment there will be a charge of £68.25

All Contractors brought onto the premises by the hirer must be covered by their own Public Liability Insurance.

The hotel reserves the right to cancel any bookings forthwith without liability on its part and any booking that could be deemed to bring the Hotel into disrepute or through situations outside the Hotels control.

The hotel cannot be held responsible for any works carried out by contractors or otherwise outside of the hotel grounds.

The terms and conditions are not subject to amendment by the client. No oral representations will be recognised by the hotel.

If any items are to be delivered to the Hotel prior to the function, arrangements must be made with the Hotel beforehand. The Hotel will make its best endeavours for the safe keeping of such items which will remain at the Clients own risk and the Hotel will not be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or damage. All items are to be collected from the hotel within 48 hours after the function.

The client is responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings and equipment in them by any act, default or neglect of the client, its guests or sub-contractors and shall pay to the hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

Cancellation Policy – cancellations of the function will result in the charges shown becoming due. In each case the percentage charge is based on the advance notice of cancellation given and applies to the estimated total cost of the function. From 40 weeks to 26 weeks - 25%
From 25 weeks to 6 weeks  50% / Less than 6 weeks 100%.

WEDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

IIn these terms and conditions “terms” which apply to all bookings, the expression “the Hotel” means the Little Haven Hotel specified in the clients’ confirmation and “the client” means the person booking the Hotel. (Terms & Conditions are correct at time of print and are subject to change)

Once you have discussed a possible date we will hold a provisional booking, without any obligation, for 14 days. Failure to pay your deposit after the 14 days confirms you do not wish to go ahead with the booking and the Hotel reserves the right to release the date without prior notification.

Deposits & Further Payments - To confirm the booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £600.00 and a completed booking form.  Six months prior to the wedding we require a further £800.00 and the final balance is due six weeks before the wedding. All prices are subject to yearly increase in line with the year the wedding is actually taking place.

As you know family and friends like to pay towards the deposit/wedding package price, their contribution will be taken with the understanding the terms and conditions apply to the payments they make in regards to the non-refundable deposits and cancelation policy, whether they are a signatory on this agreement or not.

Complimentary room only applicable if wedding breakfast & evening wedding reception is booked and there are 40 adults or more in attendance. This also applies to Top Table flowers.

When the meal is a buffet a minimum of 80% of the guests must be catered for, based on at least buffet ‘A’ priced at £11.10 per head.

If a secondary room is required for a buffet an additional room hire charge will
be applicable.

Where a Marquee is being used an additional room hire charge will incur for
the Riverside.

When Boardwalk conservatory is booked all guests must be catered for with a minimum of 100 guest and incurs £1050.00 room hire charge.

Children under the age of 10 have a choice of half an adult portion charged at 50% of the adult price or a choice from the Children’s Menu, Children under 2 are free.

All prices quoted are correct at the time of going to press; however the Little Haven Hotel reserves the right to change them without notice.

The choice of menu should be confirmed at least twelve weeks prior to the wedding. Final numbers are required no later than eight weeks prior to the Wedding. The final number is then invoiced, unless numbers increase. However no refunds can be made after this time.

Once you have a date booked please remember to check availability of the Hotel bedrooms. You may take a number of our brochures, please advise your guests to book as soon as possible. No block bookings of bedrooms can be made. All rooms are required to be guaranteed with current credit/debit card information. All rooms are payable on departure, weekend rate is applied if booked at the weekend. No additional discounts are offered. (exception to Bride & Groom upgrade)

If any items are to be delivered to the Hotel prior to the wedding, arrangements must be made with the Hotel in advance. The Hotel will make its best endeavours for the safe keeping of such items which will remain at the Clients own risk.

Please ensure any room dressing requirements that are not provided by the hotel, must be arranged at a time that is suitable to the hotel schedules to ensure the room is ready.

Any room or table dressing requirements  that are not provided for by the hotel, and are required to be dressed by us will be charged at an additional fee starting
from £31.50

The Hotel will not be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or damage. All items are to be collected from the Hotel within 48 hours after the function.

The Client is responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings and equipment in them by any act, default or neglect of the Client, its Guests or Sub-Contractors and shall pay to the Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

All deposits are none refundable, rescheduled dates require a further deposit for the room that is to be hired and is liable under the cancelation policy.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellation of the Wedding will result in the charges shown becoming due. In each case, the percentage charges are based on the advance notice of cancellation given and applies to the estimated total cost of the wedding.
From 40 weeks to 26 weeks - 25%
From 25 weeks to 12 weeks 50%
Less than 12 weeks 100%.
